Dr. Sammi Fuller, DVM
Owner & Veterinarian

Dr. Fuller grew up in Prince George, BC, graduating from Duchess Park Secondary School. She knew from a young age she wanted to be a veterinarian, growing up with a multitude of pets in her household, including dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians. She decided to go to the University of Calgary after graduation, where she completed a Bachelor of Sciences in Cellular, Molecular and Microbiology with Distinction. She then went to the University of Saskatchewan, Western College of Veterinary Medicine, where she completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Thinking of specializing, she decided to move to the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI to complete a Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship. She gained valuable experience and knowledge here from a multitude of specialists, making her move back to her home-town of Prince George, to be a general small animal private practitioner much easier. Dr. Fuller has three dogs of her own: Charlie, a Newfie mix and George, a Great Pyrenees Bernese Mountain dog cross, and Freddy, a Pomeranian mix. She enjoys hiking and going camping with her dogs and her husband, Wade.

Freddy
Dietary Quality Control Officer

This handsome fellow is Freddy. He is usually found having a nap in his bed under his mom's  desk. Freddy was rescued by Dr. Fuller and comes to work with her most days. Freddy is a serious soul and he supervises the treatment area ensuring he gets his fair share of whatever food is being served to our patients. Freddy is a little reserved but opens up once he has our staff trained to give him adequate treats through out the day. When he is not working, Freddy can be found out on adventures with his family at the lake or hiking.

This is Bruce. Bruce has been coming to the clinic with his mom, Leah, since he was only 12 weeks old! He spends most of his days sleeping in the office, but is always trying to find a way to sneak up to the receptionist desk to visit Rae, Kendra, and most importantly- the treat jar. Bruce loves meeting all the puppies that come into the clinic and often is used as an emotional support buddy for some of our nervous patients having a hard time getting in the door. While he is extremely good looking, we are still unsure if he has a thought in his big head so Bruce is a great source of comedic relief for our staff in the clinic. In his free time he loves swimming, hiking and driving his family crazy with his stealthy sock stealing skills.
